Do you have what it takes to be a Park Explorer? Alberta’s parks inspire us to discover, value, protect, and enjoy the natural world... and now it's your turn to help! Join a Park Interpreter for a fun, hands-on adventure where YOU become a Junior Park Explorer. Complete special challenges to learn how we care for parks and the animals, plants, and landscapes that call them home. As a Junior Park Explorer, you’ll help make sure Alberta’s parks stay beautiful and healthy for everyone today and into the future! 

Program starts at the Playground (Main Campground). This is a mobile program. Please arrive on time and be ready to explore!

Please note:

  • Ideal for children 12 and under.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Please be dressed for the weather and insects.
  • No alcohol or smoking permitted during programs.
  • Programs may be canceled due to inclement weather or severe air quality.
  • Pets must be on leash during this program.
