Moberly Flats Campground is located on the west shore of the South Lake. There are about 30 sites here which are suitable for RVs and tents. Most of them back onto the lake for a very scenic camping experience. This self registration campground provides the basics like firepits, picnic tables and pit/vault toilets.

This is a self-registration campground. Payment can be made by cash or personal cheque (payable to “Government of Alberta”). Credit cards are NOT accepted as payment.
2025 Season: Moberly Flats campground remains open for First Come First Serve Self Registration camping until September 30. Be advised that services and campsite availability will be limited during this time and that camp site and service availability may be reduced depending on the weather. The last available night for camping is September 29 with the campground fully closing September 30.

Firewood alert! Firewood not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to buy firewood locally, burn on site, never bring home.
WaterWater is NOT available from a hand pump at this site, however it is available in Gunderson Meadows by the boat launch and by site # 5.
Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, this water is not potable and we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
