A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.
    • Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park offers private bookings of both indoor and outdoor facilities for regional, national and international sporting events, as well as weddings and corporate events.
    • Requests to use indoor facilities that fall outside of the above criteria (For e.g. children’s birthday parties, religious activities, retreats) require written approval. Please email [email protected].
    Please note, Canmore Nordic Centre serves as a sporting event venue and training centre for our national cross-country and biathlon ski teams. For this reason, races and other trail-based sporting events take priority over private functions such as weddings and conferences. The event calendar is usually known 6 to 12 months ahead of time.

Book a Wax Room

Ski/Wax Team Rooms

  • Wax rooms can be rented on a daily basis.
  • Wax Room will be allocated based on current availability.
  • Wax rooms may be booked a maximum of 6 months in advance
  • Wax rooms are for storage and race preparation purposes only.
  • Absolutely no sleeping or cooking is permitted in the wax rooms.
  • Canmore Nordic Centre staff will follow up to confirm your booking.

Weddings

ALL Wedding Bookings must be booked through Cornerstone Catering.

Please note, Canmore Nordic Centre serves as a sporting event venue and training centre for our national cross-country and biathlon ski teams. For this reason, races and other trail-based sporting events take priority over private functions such as weddings and conferences.

Outdoor Wedding Sites

Tree Island

  • No power
  • Grass is cut
  • Note: This site is more secluded and generally quieter than the Cross-Country Wedding or Bow Valley Vista / Biathlon Wedding Site.

Cross-Country Stadium

  • Has power
  • Grass is cut
  • Note: If a sporting event is taking place at the same time as a ceremony, there may be noise due to music, announcing and participants.

Bow Valley Vista / Biathlon

  • No power
  • Grass is left natural
  • Note: There may be biathletes training on the biathlon range during your ceremony. It is important to ensure that wedding guests yield to roller skiers at all times as roller skis do not have brakes. If a sporting event is taking place at the same time as a ceremony, there may be noise due to music, announcing and participants.
Book a Group

Group Bookings

  • All pre-booked groups of 10 or more are eligible for a 10% discount on day passes in Winter.
  • Groups must pay in a lump sum to be eligible for the discounted rate.
