The Chambers Creek Group site is a lovely location, only a 20-minute drive from Rocky Mountain House. The Pine Hills Golf course is a pristine course located only 15 minutes from Chambers. The shelter is quaint but useful in inclement weather with tables and a wood stove inside. The creek flows below the camp useful for fishing and cooling off. There are public ATV trails in the area as well.
Recent changes to the recreation area regulation under the Public Health Act have affected provision of drinking water in this group campground – we cannot absolutely guarantee that water from hand pumps is free of pathogens because of the risk of ground water contamination. As a result, Alberta Parks recommends that you bring your own drinking water.
