Details:Motorized access is permitted on the main Obed Lake. Take the most direct route to the ice surface. Summit Lake and Hay Lake are to remain as foot access only. Remember – no ice is ever 100% safe. Ice thickness can vary.
Obed Lake Provincial Park encompasses three lakes and abundant wetlands and forested areas. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the wildlife and birds in the area, including trumpeter swans, bald eagles, and osprey. Visitors to the park can camp at a small campground suited for both RVs and tents. The main lake offers fishing, power boating, canoeing, and kayaking opportunities. Obed Lake contains yellow perch and brown trout.
